Boy do I have the keyboard for you!
Chirping Bat is proud to introduce two RF wireless keyboards with 30 and 100 foot ranges truly liberating the user from the computer.

These are RF (Radio Frequency) keyboards. These are the type that go through walls, around corners etc. These keyboards have one huge advantage over other wireless RF keyboards. These have advertised and guaranteed ranges of 30 and 100 feet. In addition, they are light weight, they feel great and are about the size of a regular 104 keyboard.
These keyboards do have a numeric keypad for easy use with screen readers such as Window eyes, JAWS, HAL, and Windows Bridge.
My audio transmitter always did two or three hundred feet and it's great now to have a keyboard that can almost keep up. I am free! I have my wireless headphones and my keyboard and I can go anywhere up to 100 feet of my house and count on dependable computer access.

To compliment the keyboard of course you'll need a way to hear your computer including your speech synthesizer from 100 feet away. Basically there are two types of devices for this. One type involves a pair of headphones and a transmitter. The user plugs the transmitter into the line level output jack of the sound card or speech synth or both and listens to the broadcast audio signal on the headphones. These headphone style devices are readily available from most any consumer electronics store with different features such as, range, broadcast frequency, rechargeable verses regular batteries, stereo verses monaural, fidelity etc. They range in price between about $60 and $140 and up to several hundreds of dollars.
The other type of device is an FM transmitter that plugs into the line level output of the sound card or the speech synth or both. These devices are usually tunable within some range of the typical FM band between 88 and 108 MegaHertz. The user listens to the broadcast audio on a standard FM radio receiver. They range in price between about $20 and $150 and up to several hundreds or thousands of dollars.
Chirping Bat features Sennheiser Wireless Headphones for superior quality here.
Here following are two links to some of the better audio transmitting devices that I know of. There are lots of good devices out there and if you are aware of a particularly good one please let us know about it.
